Reiter invented the Respiro to target less forage contamination and less foreign objects and stones being raked into the swath.
This vision was realised with a new elastic pick-up system with a small diameter. A system of skids is guiding the pick-up drum precisely above ground, so soil contact of the pick-up tines can be limited to a very low level.
The small six row cam-less pick-up gently lifts every stem of fodder and the rotor ensures perfect continuity of crop transport. The fodder forms a fluffy, uniform swath without twisted portions of grass.
